Gozo is a 30 minute ferry crossing from Malta. Most visitors fly to Malta airport, taxi to the ferry port (approximately 35 minutes) then cross by ferry across the beautiful Gozo Channel (25 minutes). Some choose to fly direct by helicopter from Malta to the Heliport on Gozo, only 5 minutes from our house in Ghajnsielem. Transfers are easily arranged. Car hire is economical and probably the cheapest in Europe, starting at approximately £12 per day including fully comprehensive insurance. Local Gozo car rental companies are happy to arrange full transfers on request at reasonable rates (approx £35 return)and offer free delivery and pick-up of rented cars anywhere on the island.
